It's been awhile since I traveled via Coach Bus.
I visited a childhood buddy last weekend and decided ride the Vamoose Bus Service.
My experiences with them was all good.
I took the A-Train going uptown and stopped at the 34th Penn. Station Stop.
Then walked a few blocks to 30th Street & 7th Avenue in the corner, there's a bagel shop called Bagel Maven Café.
That's the area where you can catch your reserved Vamoose Bus.
Check-in was quick. There's a gentleman with an iPad, just give him your last name.
He will then proceed to check your name on his iPad, punch you in and hand you a bus ticket.
There are Vamoose people that will glady assist you with your luggage if you have one.
With the bus ticket, there's a man that collects it right before you enter the bus.
The ride overall from NYC to Bethesda, MD was smooth sailing.
I'm 5'11 feet tall and my knees are barely touching the seat in front of me. Not bad...
The bus were equipped with LCD screens but they didn't play any movies.
The WiFi service are for basic use only, such as checking emails and reading articles online.
It is not recommended for online streaming & downloading.
The WiFi signal in the bus were so weak I couldn't even troll on Instagram.
The bus also have power outlets to charge up your electronic devices.
This is what the aisle look like inside the Vamoose Bus.
Overall, this bus service is a good one.
I was a bit late and I ended up getting a seat close to the bathroom.
I didn't smell any foul odor or funk at all, as some of the reviewers from Yelp.com have mentioned.
I will definitely use this bus service again.
I reserved my bus ride online.
